Yeee Gads! I’ve been so busy reorganizing my stash and scraps that I haven’t sat at my sewing machine for two whole weeks! Here is what my yardage looks like now that it is all in place.
I’ve been helping my 12 year old make a headless horseman costume for Halloween. I think we almost have it. I need to tweak it a bit with red fabric (bloody stump at neck) and fake blood dripping down. Our axe (not shown) also needs some “blood” on it. (Yuck!) if you have boys in this age range, you know what I’m talking about. I’m the only female in the house and I have to put up with this stuff. It’s sort of fun but definitely gross! I’ll post a picture on Instagram of the finished costume. I’m also trying to figure out how to make a ‘saddle’ for the dog. He could be the horse! I’m not sure my son wants to walk the dog the whole night but it would be cute!
I’m thinking I can get back to quilting on Sunday afternoon.
I’ve watched Angela Walters’ Dot to Dot class and read her book
